Scott Frankcombe

The mere mention of the words "Scott" and "Tuba" evokes a host of emotions among the members of WCB and their listeners. Since joining WCB, Scott Frankcombe has managed to delight, scare, inspire and generally strike awe into the inner core of the WCB rank and file.

Scott has, on occasion, triggered seismic activity from the Earth's surface to the core of our planet with his unequalled tonal quality on the BBb tuba. We are not sure whether this unnatural ability is the direct result of Scott residing under the same roof as a totally outrageous bass trombone player, or whether there was something in the water on his native island of Tasweigia.

WCB bestowed the greatest honour on Scott's thunderous life, by allowing him to become the third understudy in the role of fat controller in the Battle of the Bands Campaign.

It is not well known that Scott has been engaged by the NSW police band in the capacity of an "unauthorised lethal weapon". In the height of urban warfare and riots, Scott is sent into the fray with his trusty BBb tuba, to play continuous pedal A#s. This usually results in entire street gangs soiling their garments and hence securing total crowd control.
